The term “Frimas” refers to the first cold days which concentrate aromas in this Gewurtztraminer just like a late harvest wine! It is powerful with quince, honey and spice aromas. The mouthfeel is full and smooth, a fine balance of rich and tart notes.
Ideal for the aperitif, with sharp cheeses (blue cheeses, Maroilles, Vieux-Lille, Camemberts), foie gras and pan-fried foie gras, tarte tatin, fruit paste…but also great by itself!
